The Pon series is another example of how Jasper Morrison is building upon Fredericia's traditions for using a prime selection of woods. In today's living spaces, with family and social life being increasingly individualized, the space has to accommodate a range of activities - from relaxing with a book, to working on the laptop, watching film on the tablet, or social gatherings where food and drinks are served. This calls for more flexible and less rigid side tables, as opposed to stationary coffee tables. In the hospitality sector, smaller side tables are often neglected due to lack of strength
and stability in hard public use. Pon is a series of solid wood side tables in different sizes that are both very stable, versatile and which can be beautifully combined with both modern and classic designs.
