Designed in 1971 by Børge Mogensen, the Coupe Sofa features a high, enveloping back with wings, creating a sense of privacy and comfort—ideal as a calm retreat in larger spaces or a cozy setting by a fireplace. This series also includes a 3-seater sofa with distinct rectangular sides, the last piece Mogensen completed before his passing, representing the culmination of his minimalist approach to exclusive upholstered furniture. The collection was later completed with a 2.5-seater sofa designed by his son, architect Peter Mogensen, whose subtly extended cushions soften the strict geometry, adding a refined yet slightly unexpected character while respecting the original design vision.
